With the draft days away and the (virtual) offseason program set to begin next week, the Detroit Lions took care of a housekeeping issue Tuesday and signed exclusive rights free agents Dee Virgin and Mike Ford to one-year deals.
The Lions previously tendered minimum contract offers to both players, which kept them from accepting jobs with other teams.

Virgin made 10 tackles in 15 games with the Lions last season, playing primarily on special teams.
