The Detroit Lions didn't exactly ease Mike Ford into things last season.
An undrafted cornerback out of Southeast Missouri State, Ford spent the first half of 2018 on the Lions practice squad, signed to the active roster in mid-November and made his NFL debut four days later as a starter against Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers.
