At one point this spring, it looked like Joe Dahl might be the Lions' left tackle to start the season. Now, the second-year offensive lineman is headed to injured reserve.
The Lions placed Dahl on IR Tuesday to open a roster spot for former Grand Valley State lineman Tim Lelito.
Dahl was limited during practice last week by a lower leg injury, and inactive for Sunday's loss to the Atlanta Falcons.
