Detroit Lions place center Frank Ragnow on injured reserve

The Detroit Lions will be without Pro Bowl center Frank Ragnow for at least the next three weeks after they placed him on injured reserve Wednesday.

Ragnow suffered a turf toe injury in the first quarter of Sunday's loss to the Chicago Bears. He left the game after a premature snap that bounced off Jared Goff's leg and into the hands of a Bears defensive lineman.

Lions coach Dan Campbell said Monday that Ragnow likely would be out for this week’s game against the Minnesota Vikings, and the organization said privately the injury probably would sideline Ragnow for multiple weeks.
