Three Detroit Lions players may see their training camp debuts delayed this season. On Sunday morning, the Lions announced that defensive end Austin Bryant has been placed on the active Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list, Javon McKinney has been placed on the active/Non-Football Injury (NFI) list, and Evan Heim has been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Bryant is entering his third year in the NFL after being taken by the Lions in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Due to various injuries, Bryant has played in just 10 games through two seasons.
