On Friday, the Detroit Lions will open up their first of six OTA practices for this offseason. Detroit opted to cut their offseason program significantly this year, likely because they’ll be starting training camp early now that they’re in the preseason Hall of Fame Game. That means one fewer week of OTAs (two instead of three), and mandatory minicamp has been cancelled.
That leaves us with only a small preview into the Lions’ 2025 team this spring. We’ll have to be extra vigilant during the two of six practices that are open to the media.
