The Detroit Lions had several players missing from Friday’s Organized Team Activity—the team’s third session of the week. Prior to practice, coach Dan Campbell said they were being extra cautious with many players this time of year because they don’t need to push it.
“We’re just trying to be smart,” Campbell said. “We’ve got little dings here and there, and so we’re just trying to make sure everybody’s good. So, this is the time of year to make sure that we’re being a little more conservative with those type of things. And they’re here, they’re in meetings, and so everybody’s locked in.
