DENVER — The Chase Young dream is getting closer to reality.
The Detroit Lions moved up to No. 3 in the draft order after Sunday's early games, moving ahead of the Miami Dolphins and New York Giants.
The Dolphins (4-11) beat the Cincinnati Bengals (1-14), and the Giants (4-11) beat Washington (3-12), both in overtime.
The Lions can finish as high as the No. 2 pick if they lose their remaining two games, today against the Denver Broncos and at home next week against the Green Bay Packers, and if Washington beats the Dallas Cowboys next week.
