Thirty-two players — an average of one per NFL team — have opted out of the 2020 season, and Detroit Lions coach Matt Patricia said Friday he "100%" respects those who prioritize their or their family's health over football this fall.
"Certainly our families are the most important thing and I know a lot of times in football that gets lost, but I think about it every single day," Patricia said.
