Detroit Lions make changes on their practice squad

Since the end of Week 6, the Detroit Lions made a few changes to their practice squad. With a vacancy left from promoting David Blough to the active 53-man squad (in order to prevent the Dallas Cowboys from signing him), the Lions signed defensive tackle Albert Huggins to the practice squad.

His name should sound familiar, as the Lions claimed Huggins off of waivers back on September 1. However, with little time to acclimate to the team before cutdown day, the Lions waived him just four days later.
