At this point of the year, we aren’t exploring new territory. The Lions failed to make the playoffs... again. After the devastating Jets game in Week 1, I said to myself, “Why do I root for these f#@%s year in and year out.” Life would be so much easier as a Patriots fan, a Saints fan or a Steelers fan. So why do we keep coming back for such abuse? The only thing I can think of is loyalty.
Just as lions are supposed to be, we are loyal to our team.
