They traded for one safety, added a cornerback and are trying to trade away another, and the Detroit Lions aren't done overhauling their secondary yet.

The Lions agreed to a one-year deal with former Minnesota Vikings safety Jayron Kearse early Thursday morning. NFL Network reported the deal is for $2.75 million.

Kearse was a part-time defensive player and core special teams player for the Vikings last fall, and should have a similar role with the Lions this year.
