Miles Killebrew said he woke up Monday morning to a few text messages from friends asking if his family was OK back home in Las Vegas.
Killebrew, the second-year Lions safety who grew up in nearby Henderson, Nev., had no idea what the texts were about until he hopped online and saw the tragic news of a mass shooting on the Vegas strip that left at least 58 dead and more than 500 injured.
