Detroit Lions' Kerby Joseph ranked No. 1 by PFF experts: 'He went off'

The Detroit Lions' defense finished 31st in points allowed in 2021, so for the third time in four picks in the 2022 NFL draft, they did what they could to address that weakness.

The Lions took Illinois defensive back Kerby Joseph with their third-round selection, at No. 97 overall.

"This is a Dan Campbell and Aaron Glenn type of player who loves to play the game," ESPN's Louis Riddick said. "He doesn’t have great measurable, but I’ll tell you what: He can play a lot of football for Detroit.
