The Detroit Lions’ final injury report for Week 1 is more hopeful than not. Four potential starters are listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals, including Jarrad Davis, despite suffering what appeared (at the time) to be a serious ankle injury. Davis didn’t practice much during the week, but he was preparing to travel with the team Friday, a good sign that he is, at least, close to a return.
Also listed as questionable is cornerback Rashaan Melvin, who took one step closer to playing this week by participating more in Friday’s practice than in the previous two days.
