Slay ride
Cornerback Darius Slay's future remains up in the air. Slay wants a new contract, the Lions have been reluctant to give him one, and even though their asking price has dropped in a trade, no deal seems imminent.
The Lions don't have to deal Slay. He's under contract for one more season if they want to keep him, and they could always decide the hassle is not worth it and let him go.
