ATLANTA — Matthew Stafford has a new quarterbacks coach for the third time in four seasons.
With George Godsey set to join new Miami Dolphins coach Brian Flores' staff after the Super Bowl, the Lions are hiring Houston Texans quarterbacks coach Sean Ryan as his replacement.
Ryan spent the last three seasons with the Texans and worked the last two years as Deshaun Watson's quarterbacks coach.
Watson threw for 4,165 yards and 26 touchdowns this season, his first full year in the NFL after tearing his ACL as a rookie.
