Defense saved the Detroit Lions on many occasions this past season. Even though they were among the top teams in sacks, they were one of the worst pressuring the quarterback.
A combination of the draft and free agency will do the trick to improve the defensive end/outside linebacker position. Are any players from 2018 set to return? Here are my thoughts.
Ziggy Ansah
Unarguably, no pass rusher was better and as frustrating as Ansah. A shoulder ailment limited his season and it painted a pretty unclear picture of his future.
It hasn’t been completely ruled out he wouldn’t return.
