Matthew Stafford will miss his third straight game Sunday because of a back injury, but the Detroit Lions quarterback will travel with the team to Washington this weekend.
Lions coach Matt Patricia said Stafford, who fractured bones in his upper back in the Week 9 loss to the Oakland Raiders, has been "critical" to the offense's solid play the past two weeks and the development of backup quarterback Jeff Driskel.
