There's certainly lots of buzz around the Detroit Lions going into the upcoming season.
Despite failing to make the playoffs last year, they were the closest they have ever been since 2016. Unfortunately, their fate wasn't entirely up to them, and a Seattle Seahawks' win over the Los Angeles Rams shut the door on the Lions' chances at postseason play before Detroit took the field in the season finale win against the Green Bay Packers.
The resiliency showed in winning eight of their final 10 games after a 1-6 start is a big reason why the Lions are the favorites to win the NFC North.
