Detroit Lions expect 'big things' from TE T.J. Hockenson in Year 2

INDIANAPOLIS — T.J. Hockenson's rookie season ended in disappointment when a December ankle injury sent him to injured reserve.

But Hockenson showed enough in his first 12 games that Detroit Lions coach Matt Patricia and general manager Bob Quinn agree the tight end is poised for stardom soon.

“I think we have a really good tight end that had a really strong rookie season," Quinn said Tuesday at the NFL combine.
