Detroit Lions bracing for games with no fans: 'It would be an adjustment for everybody'

When the Detroit Lions open the regular season Sept. 13 against the Chicago Bears, there's a very real possibility they do it with no fans in the stands, or in front of a severely limited crowd.

From a purely selfish standpoint, that's fine with Matthew Stafford.

"I’m (a) quarterback, quiet’s great. I love that," Stafford said Thursday. "I can talk, I can hear what they’re saying on defense.
