Detroit Lions bench Teez Tabor on Thanksgiving; Mitchell Trubisky out for Bears

DETROIT -- Teez Tabor has been benched.

The Lions announced Thursday morning they won't dress their former second-round pick against the Bears. It's just the latest setback for the struggling cornerback, who ranks among the worst players in the game at his position.

Tabor has allowed 16 completions on 17 targets the last five weeks, three of which scored touchdowns. For the season, he's the only cornerback in the league who has played at least 20 percent of his defense's snaps and is still allowing a perfect QB rating.

Last week, he lost his starting spot to undrafted rookie Mike Ford.
