Detroit Lions anything but great during Great Lakes Classic vs. Browns

Rookie signal-caller Baker Mayfield played the entire first half for Cleveland, while Jake Rudock got the starting nod at quarterback for Detroit.

The Browns received the ball first and Mayfield connected with tight end Devon Cajuste for a couple of strong gains through the air and rookie running back Nick Chubb carried five times for 30 yards. Chubb would go on to score a three yard touchdown on a fourth down conversion for Cleveland from Detroit’s three yard line.

On their first offensive possession, Detroit only managed a three and out and when their defensive counterparts took the field for the second time, they continued to give up significant yardage to their opponent as has been the case for the past four weeks.
