Ziggy Ansah’s lingering shoulder injury has forced the Detroit Lions to make a move on their defensive line.

The Lions signed defensive end Eric Lee from the practice squad on Saturday, and waived offensive lineman Andrew Donnal.

Lee made five starts and had 3.5 sacks for the New England Patriots last season. He’ll add depth to a defensive front that has just six other healthy players and won’t have Ansah on the field for the third straight week.
