Detroit Lions: 5 fringe players in danger of being cut

The Detroit Lions hosted the Buffalo Bills at Ford Field on Friday night in their third contest of the preseason. Known as the dress rehearsal game, the Lions’ starters played through the second quarter. That included quarterback Matthew Stafford, who made his preseason debut against the Bills.

Despite the play of Stafford and the other starters, the preseason is really an opportunity to evaluate roster depth. With that in mind, here are five fringe players whom we believe are in real danger of being waived when final cuts are made at the end of the month.
