Detroit Lions: 3 possible first-time Pro Bowlers in 2021

The Detroit Lions sent wide receiver Kenny Golladay and cornerback Darius Slay to the Pro Bowl over the weekend. For Golladay, it was his first nomination. And for Slay, his third in a row.

The Lions third-year receiver actually led both Pro Bowl teams in receiving posting 109 yards, catching three of his seven targets. Slay recorded four total tackles and one pass defend as the NFC team was defeated 38-33 by the AFC All-Stars.

Now, the focus turns to next season. With Lions owner Martha Ford expecting the team to go from 3-12-1 to being a playoff contender in 2020, Detroit will likely need to send more than just two players to the Pro Bowl in 2021.
