Isaac TeSlaa was not very productive over his two seasons at the University of Arkansas, but he had the kind of size-speed combination to compel the Detroit Lions to move up 32 spots to take him in April's draft.

The rookie wideout paid off the Lions' bold move during training camp and the preseason, seemingly taking hold of the No. 3 wide receiver role to the point his clearest competition (Tim Patrick) was traded to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

As the Lions prepared for Week 1 against the Green Bay Packers, TeSlaa missed some practice time due to an illness.
