Detroit Lions defensive back Brian Branch is coming off a terrific rookie season, proving to be one of the biggest steals of the 2023 NFL Draft. Coach Dan Campbell has not been shy about the team’s desire to increase Branch’s workload even further in 2024, but the young defender will have to first get healthy, as he was spotted in a walking boot during the NFL Draft.
On Thursday, Campbell met with the media ahead of OTAs and addressed Branch’s injury, noting a cleanup procedure that is progressing well.
“He had a little cleanup there,” Campbell said of Branch.
