Dan Campbell can't contain his excitement about the Lions' finalized roster

The Detroit Lions wrapped up their preseason on Saturday against the Houston Texans, and the teams' focus now shifts to the 2025 regular season. The Lions finished the 2025 NFL preseason with a 1-3 record, with their one win coming against the Atlanta Falcons.

With the preseason now in the rear view mirror, the Lions' final 53-man roster is slowly coming into form after multiple cuts on Monday, most notably backup quarterback Hendon Hooker, wide receiver Jackson Meeks, and offensive tackle Dan Skipper, all finding themselves on waivers.

With the Lions' regular season set to kick off less than two weeks from now against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field, coach Dan Campbell and his coaching staff feel confident about the roster that he has going into the season.
