Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott said Thursday he will be starting Sunday against the Detroit Lions after missing the past five games because of a fractured right thumb.
"I am," he said when asked if he was starting the game against the Lions. He added that his thumb feels great.
Prescott had said Sunday he planned to return but the quarterback was definitive on Thursday that he will be returning to the starting lineup.
Prescott told reporters he won't need to wear a brace on his thumb and he has had no limitations in practice this week.
