Damon Harrison doesn't have a new contract yet, and the Detroit Lions defensive tackle won't be holding out until he gets one.

Harrison told NFL Network on Monday that he plans to attend Lions training camp when it opens later this week.

Harrison skipped mandatory minicamp last month and did not take part in voluntary workouts this spring as he sought an adjustment to the five-year contract he signed with the New York Giants in March 2016.

The Giants traded Harrison to the Lions last October, and Harrison was the biggest factor for the team's defensive turnaround in the second half of the season.
