Chicago Bears gets next to nothing in Justin Fields trade

Related Topics: Chicago Bears, Justin Fields

The Chicago Bears finally pulled the trigger on the trade we knew was coming all offseason. After a couple weeks of trying to gauge the market, the Bears traded quarterback Justin Fields to the Pittsburgh Steelers. But the return on the trade was paltry by most standards of young quarterback trades. In return, the Bears are getting just a sixth-round pick in 2025. Per Adam Schefter, that sixth-round pick can turn into a fourth-round pick if Fields plays at least 51 percent of snaps for the Steelers in 2024.

That seems unlikely, though.
