Caleb Brantley, Chris Wormley would be strong Day 2 DT fits for Lions

It isn’t the pressing need linebacker or defensive end are, but the Lions do need help at defensive tackle after seeing a pretty steady rotation of players since Ndamukong Suh and Nick Fairley left the team following the 2014 season.

Haloti Ngata is back, but Detroit has to consider finding his replacement since Ngata is 33 years old and in the final year of his deal. A’Shawn Robinson is promising but needs to take a second-year leap in production. Detroit gave Akeem Spence and Khyri Thornton decent money to be contributors, but the room is there for the Lions to grab an impact player in the middle of the defensive line.
