DETROIT -- Bob Quinn and Matt Patricia are nearing in on their first Lions draft together. They have plenty left of preparation left to do, but not so much for the first round or the No. 20 pick they own. That part of the board is pretty much set.
"I could probably narrow it down to five or six guys right now," Quinn said in a Q&A session at Ford Field on Monday. "That could all change tomorrow, but as I'm sitting here right now, I could probably rattle off a few. But I won't."
It's only guessing as to who those players are, but the theory of matching talent to need can create an estimation.
