ALLEN PARK -- What happened to A'Shawn Robinson?
He was a second-round pick of the Lions in 2016, and played pretty well as a rookie. He even moved into the starting lineup that year, and expectations were high fas he moved into a full-time starting role last year.
But he never really took that step forward. He finished with just a half-sack, even though he started all 16 games. He ranked 66th overall at the position, according to ProFootballFocus. And there have been no signs he's taken a step forward in 2018 either.
Robinson was quiet in training camp and has done little through two games in the preseason.
