Antonio Brown re-emerges in race to catch Calvin Johnson

Antonio Brown did the extraordinary on Sunday, and while he has quarterback issues in Pittsburgh and a ways to go still to catch Calvin Johnson’s single-season receiving yards record, the Steelers wide receiver did put himself back in the conversation.

And he did it by having a day much like Johnson did when he broke Jerry Rice’s record in 2012. Johnson had an insane second half to that season -- chronicled here last week -- and it puts into perspective exactly how hard it is going to be for Brown, Atlanta’s Julio Jones or Houston’s DeAndre Hopkins to break his mark of 1,964 receiving yards in a season.
