Sunday’s Super Bowl brings the end of the NFL’s 100th anniversary season with a fitting milestone: The Kansas City Chiefs, winners of the final Super Bowl held before the official merger of the AFL and NFL in 1970, — they kept matriculating the ball down the field, as you may have heard a few times this week, in Super Bowl IV — are making their first appearance in the big game in 50 years.
