YPSILANTI -- Eastern Michigan quarterback Rob Bolden will get a chance to throw the ball around in the colors he wore as a kid playing football in his backyard.
Bolden, an Orchard Lake St. Mary's alum who grew up a Lions fans in the suburbs of Detroit, was one of the undrafted rookie free agents invited to the team's rookie mini-camp Saturday night.
"I was watching the draft, and they shot me a text saying they would be in contact," Bolden said. "I ended up Facetiming with Joe Kelleher, and the quarterbacks coach (Jim Bob Cooter), and they gave me the news.
