2025 NFL Draft: Best highlights of new Lions guard Tate Ratledge

It almost wouldn’t feel like a draft weekend without the Detroit Lions making a trade to move up and get their guy. And near the end of the second round, Lions general manager Brad Holmes made his move, trading up to 57th overall in the 2025 NFL Draft to select guard Tate Ratledge out of the University of Georgia.

Ratledge was a three-year starter at right guard down in Athens, and along with incumbents Graham Glasgow and Christian Mahogany, the rookie should compete right away for a starting spot on the Lions’ vaunted offensive line.
