It’s officially Week 1 of the 2020 NFL season. It’s almost surreal to think that actual regular season football is happening after an offseason shrouded in darkness. No preseason game. No fans at training camp. We’ve got little idea of what to expect of the Lions or any other team in the NFL.
But that won’t stop us from making our preseason predictions. Why not take the opportunity to embarrass ourselves? Isn’t that what this profession is really about? You take wild swings in the dark, stunt on people when you’re right and pretend it never happened when people try to point out your misses.
