— Scott Anderson (@Choppiness) December 9, 201520man: When it comes to the extensions of Ansah and Slay, I’d like to see the Lions get both young budding stars extended this offseason, but the first priority if I’m GM is Slay.
The Lions have a fifth-year team option on Ansah because he’s a first-round draft pick, which they undoubtedly will pick up, so he’s essentially singed through the 2017 season. Slay will be entering the final year of his four-year rookie deal in 2016.
