Jones dominant from start, easily keeps UFC title

Jon Jones dominated Anthony Smith and rolled to an easy unanimous decision victory to retain his light heavyweight title in the main event at UFC 235 on Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

All three judges scored the bout 48-44 for Jones, who was penalized two points in the fourth round because of an illegal knee to the head of a grounded opponent.

Jones (24-1, 1 NC) was making the first defense of the belt he won at UFC 232 in December, when he stopped Alexander Gustafsson in the third round.

Smith's (31-14) three-fight winning streak was snapped.
