Up 2-0 and facing Suns potentially without Chris Paul, Nuggets coach Michael Malone says, “We haven’t done anything yet”

Michael Malone found a still frame from Denver’s Game 2 playoff win over Phoenix that he said Wednesday he wants to have framed and put in his house.

The moment worthy of a spot on the coach’s wall: A double contest of a Suns jump shot by Bruce Brown and Aaron Gordon.

“It’s like a work of art,” Malone said, lauding the precise way in which they and others aggressively defended shots without fouling or compromising their positioning. … “That’s championship defense.”

The Nuggets took care of business at home, staked themselves a 2-0 lead, moved to 6-1 overall in the postseason and now head to Phoenix to take on a Suns team that may well be without star point guard Chris Paul for a game, two games or perhaps the rest of the series.
