Tre Jones — 20-year-old, 6-foot-3 guard — is projected as the Nuggets’ pick at No. 21, according to NBC Sports’ latest NBA mock draft.
“Jones is a really good passer, a terrific defender and the kind of point guard that checks all the cliche boxes about being a winner, a leader and a facilitator,” NBC Sports’ Rob Dauster writes. “He was the ACC Player of the Year and the ACC Defensive Player of the Year. His box score numbers were impressive, and his impact on basketball games goes well beyond the box score.
