After winning in New Orleans on Tuesday night, there was reason to believe that the Nuggets may more or less punt on Wednesday night, with a back-to-back road trip to Dallas. But instead, Denver didn’t rest any of their veteran players, instead going full bore to sweep the mini road trip, and they pulled it off in impressive fashion, beating the Mavericks comfortably, 118-109.
Coming into the game, Jamal Murray, Aaron Gordon, Bruce Brown, and Spencer Jones were all on the injury report, and a night off may have made some sense, but the Nuggets went for it, with all four players ultimately playing, and winning their third straight game, and fifth out of their last six.
