“Scoring 30 meant too much”: Chauncey Billups on why Carmelo Anthony isn’t in the NBA right now

Carmelo Anthony hasn’t played an NBA game since Nov. 8, 2018 with the Rockets and he’s been unsigned since the Bulls waived him in February. One former teammate thinks he know why.

Chauncey Billups played with him from 2008-11 with the Nuggets and Knicks. On SiriusXM NBA Radio Wednesday, Billups said while Anthony was a good teammate, “scoring 30 meant too much to Melo.”
