Report: Nuggets to sign Tyler Cook to two-way contract

According to Nick Kosmider of The Athletic, the Denver Nuggets are expected to sign Tyler Cook to a two-way contract.

Cook joins the Nuggets after spending the past three years at the University of Iowa. When Cook went undrafted last season, the Nuggets signed him to play on their summer league squad. Cook played in three games for the Nuggets in Vegas and averaged 4.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game.

After a solid summer league, the Nuggets gave Cook a training camp invite before ultimately waiving him. Cook did gain some NBA experience when the Cavaliers signed him and played in 11 games during his short stint in Cleveland.
