As the Nuggets attempt to get past Phoenix and into the Western Conference Finals, coaching search season is heating up among non-playoff teams.
According to a report from The Athletic, Denver assistant coach David Adelman is set to interview for Toronto’s head coaching vacancy at some point this week. Adelman, who has been on Michael Malone’s staff for the past six seasons, is an Oregon native and the son of longtime NBA head coach Rick Adelman.
Asked about the report before Sunday’s Game 4 in Phoenix, Malone only said, “We’re getting ready to play the Phoenix Suns in Game 4.
