Bones Hyland will be wearing No. 3 for the Nuggets this season, the team announced via Twitter on Wednesday.
The 6-foot-3 combo guard was drafted by Denver with the 26th pick in the NBA draft this year. During the Summer League, he averaged 19.8 points (second on the team behind Bol Bol), 3.3 rebounds, 4.8 assists and shot 40% from beyond the arc.
Hyland, 20, wore No. 5 during his collegiate career at VCU. He wore No. 4 for the Nuggets during the Summer League. He is the 15th player to wear No.
